Elsie Jean was born December 28th at 3:57 pm. She was 7 lbs 7 oz and 20 inches long. Since she was 9 days over her due date, little stinker, I was induced that afternoon at about 12:45. I can't complain about a 3 hour labor, though! Jake got to basically deliver her with the midwife standing by telling him what to do.
We came home Wednesday and the kids were so excited to have her home. Evelyn especially loves to hold her. Eleyna is a little afraid to hold her, I think. Eli was so excited to give her her binky (since he still remembers how great they are!) He kept saying that she was crying and needed it, even though she was fast asleep.
Unfortunately to add to the sleepless nights, the kids have all taken turns throwing up and I'm quarantined to the basement so the baby and I don't get sick. Poor Jake has been catching all the throw up and has now caught the bug. Luckily it's the kind that doesn't last long. Evelyn's so sad that she doesn't get to hold Elsie since she's sick.

I'm sorry to hear of the sickness and quarantining.......(if that's how you spell it?). She is a cutie, and I'm glad to hear that the binkie patrol is ready to help!
