So, our family blog has begun. Jake was mentioning the other day that now our lives are in perfect harmony because Evelyn is 5, Eleyna is 3, and Eli is 1. So, it's a perfect chord, (hence the title of our blog.)
Since we were once musical people.... It's definitely not the case that our lives are in "Perfect Harmony." Maybe at rare moments we've got a major chord. But, sweet as she is, poor Eleyna can be terribly whiny, which changes our chord to minor. Then, as wonderful and fun and cute as she is, Evelyn can have her moments, too, which changes it to minor diminished, I believe. Not the best sounding chord, I have to say. Luckily kids need to sleep, so for at least 8 hours a night, on good nights, we've got a peaceful major chord.
And that's our family! Hopefully there will be many more exciting blogs to come!
