I finally got my hair cut after months of neglect. It’s a lot shorter with layers. It looked really great the first day after my wonderful hair stylist spent at least 15 minutes blow drying it and straightening it with her fancy salon stuff. The next time I washed it and even blew it dry, it really looked bad. After each baby, my hair has gotten curlier and wavier in all the wrong places, so to get it to look good now I have to straighten it. Is it worth it? It’s just another reason to turn on a movie for the kids in the morning. I can either turn on a movie and straighten my hair, or turn on a movie and take a shower, empty the dishwasher, clean up breakfast, make my bed, and straighten the house. It’s a tough choice.

If you've kept up with our blog, you'll know that I just cut mine quite short and I was really worried about the extra time with the blow dryer. But I've loved it. Those extra 10 minutes or whatever are worth feeling pretty the rest of the day!
I think the most important thing is finding the cut that best works with YOUR hair.
To keep Zach occupied while I'm getting ready for the day I often have to put him in a playpen so he doesn't get hurt trying to climb in and out of our bathtub! At first he cried about it, but now he's used to it.
