Scrabble

Jake consented to a game of Scrabble on my birthday. He was beating me by a good 20 point lead the entire game, which was unusually great for him. Unfortunately his great score of 23 for Quit, with "Q" on the double letter turned into an even better score of 34 for me when I made it into "Quitter" with the "E" on a double word space. I wonder if we'll ever play again.

Anyone up for a game?

p.s. I'm really not that good with words, it's just the puzzle part that I'm good at.
p.s.s. If not Scrabble, then how about Boggle? No one will ever play that with me, either.

Than feels the same way about Boggle--guess you and I should play together! Welcome to the blogging world--it's great to hear what your family is up to. Visit ours sometime if you haven't lately...

When we were first married I always beat Adam at Scrabble. Now I never can. It's all the brain cells I've lost bearing children.... It's even worse because my major emphasis was English!
